Established in 1989, Israir Airlines is one of Israel’s leading carriers, operating both domestic and international flights.
Based at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, it serves as a hub for various destinations.
Domestically, Israir connects Tel Aviv with Eilat.
Internationally, the airline flies to numerous locations across Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East, including cities like Dubai, Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, and Rome, and holiday spots such as Zanzibar, Rhodes, Corfu, and Larnaca.
Why Add the Israir Livery to IF?
Adding the Israir livery to Infinite Flight would enhance the diversity of the simulator’s fleet by representing one of Israel’s most prominent airlines. This addition would allow users to fly routes operated by Israir, especially the unique Tel Aviv-Eilat route, which as of now no airline in IF does.
Furthermore, Israir’s presence in Europe and the Mediterranean would allow Infinite Flight users to explore more routes, adding variety to short and medium-haul flights.
Including this livery would also give a greater representation of Israeli airlines in the simulator, catering to both local and international players interested in the region’s aviation.
My Opinion
In my view, the Israir livery would be a valuable addition, offering an expanded range of routes for Infinite Flight users. The livery’s simple but iconic, design would stand out among other liveries in IF and would appeal to players looking to experience Israeli aviation.
