Ya sometimes the controllers get mixed up. On Monday I was following a “ Turn left and contact ground on the taxiway” call after landing. Did what I was told to do, but I got a check tutorials reply.

What did the error turn out to be? Just an erroneous instruction? Did he correct it (ie. “Disregard last”)
I don’t know. Whatever it was it’s in the past so it doesn’t matter no more.
Let’s me look back at your replay when I get a free moment. Give me 30 minutes and I will send you a PM. From what it sounds like, you called in visual approach while there was no approach frequency open at KSEA. That would be the only possible reason I could think of with the given information above.
