Island Recommendations

Hello everyone,

I really enjoy flying to smaller islands on Infinite Flight and a majority of my flights either start or end on an island. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a new island or islands I can fly to in at least a Boeing 737?

I already frequently fly to:

  • Hawaii, USA
  • Bermuda
  • Tahiti Islands
  • Pretty much all the islands in the Caribbean

Thank you in advance for any recommendations

Saint Helena ~ Comair 737-800 from Johannesburg
Mount Pleasant ~ LATAM A320 from Punta Arenas

Both really cool South Atlantic islands that are regularly hit by strong winds which can make approaches tricky! Would definitely recommend 👀

Fly around islands in Greece, in the Aegean Sea. Beautiful scenery and some challenging landings.

Cyprus is a lovely island. It’s got a beautiful approach from either end.

If you want a flight to go along with it, El Al operates their Boeing 737-800 from Tel Aviv (TLV/LLBG) to Larnaca (LCA/LCLK). It only takes about 40 minutes, too!

Happy flying! ✈️

It’s not a B737 but you could realistically use an A350 from Hamburg to Mount Pleasant from now on

@themightycj Try out The Greek Islands. Places like Crete (LGIR) or Corfu (LGKR).

One that you can’t get a 737 into but I highly recommend is LGKJ which you can use the Dash-8.

I would also recommend the islands United makes Island hops to, starting from Guam (especially Micronesia). That’s in a B738

I forgot about Guam!! I haven’t done that one yet!

During high demand, they’ll use their Boeing 777-200ER (sometimes just the -200).

I would suggest flying into New Zealand. It’s really scenic.

LOL I mean it is an island, but not what I meant :P

What? How will they serve those tiny airports in Micronesia with a B772? They barely fit 2 B737s
