Is This Possible?

Is it possible to ferry a 717 from the plant in Long Beach to Honolulu?

On solo. When you’re low on fuel add more

But not in live

I don’t think so. I think Hawaiian Airlines put an extra fuel tank to get it to Hawaii when they ordered their 717s.

Ok
Thanks
I may still try it on CS though!

I remember a couple months back, someone on the IFC (I don’t remember who) managed to fly it nonstop from Seattle to Hilo. So I think it is possible.

Cool
That flight is usually longer than the one I’m planning

Maybe but it will be very close.

I flew Boeing Field (Seattle) to Honolulu a few months ago, I made it with about 30 seconds of fuel remaining, it’s doable, but not easy. I would recommend KMRY, Monterey as it’s the closest airport to Hawaii

They do indeed. Here is an article on how they do it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.avgeekery.com/boeing-717-fly-way-mainland/amp/

Ok
Thanks for the tip!

Shhhhhh, I also landed on runway 22L which is a big no no, landed nose first (it’s a 717 so that was expected) and then did a 360 spinout
