Considering it takes an hour and a half, and it is very consistently flown in real life, you’ll be fine flying it
It just means don’t fly into SFO from San Jose, Oakland ETC

“Local” describes something in the immediate area of the airport. For example, KSFO-KSJC is local flying. As for the Sydney area, I’d say YSSY-YSBK is an example.

Adding on: „local“ is more about not departing within (or very close) to approach airspace. It’s about not being in the climb while entering approach airspace to enable better vectoring (from my knowledge).

If your departure airport is more than 50nm away from your destination airport, it isn‘t considered as local flying. (Generally said)
