SOCAL ATC told me to expect vectors to runway 09 at Los Angeles?

Then he told me correction, then asked for intentions, and after I asked for ILS approach to 09 at San Diego, the response was correct.

Controllers donā€™t do bugs šŸ˜‰ was this on advanced or playground? Should not really happen on advanced.

Advanced. This is not controllers mistake. There IS no runway 09 at LAX.

There is no runway 09, even the ocean facing runways

Yeah there is not a runway 09 at KLAX. Only KSAN

Iā€™m not 100% sure, but I think in the LAX area thereā€™s an airport which is called ā€œLos Angeles [something else]ā€, (apart from KLAX).

Regardless of the other 09ā€™s in SoCal, we shouldnā€™t be getting 09 at LAX. I know there is an issue with San Diego and San Diego North Island identification with ATC, but I donā€™t believe that there is a similar problem around Los Angeles.
