Could you perhaps put some photos in the daytime? This is most certainly strange. Where were you at? What server? Some of this info could be pretty useful

Location : SMJP (It was also like this at TTPP)
Server : Expert
(Did not use AP+)

This looks like it has something to do with IFAET and how they designed the stand.

Airport editing team has nothing to do with GSE animations, it’s dev side. Moreover it’s not stand issue, because you can connect stairs and other equipment wherever you want even on runway

This happened to me a few months ago, but it isn’t really that big of a deal, it’s nice to have stairs at the back every once in a while. This seems to only happen at SMJP (Paramaribo), and on a 737 MAX 8. I don’t know if it can happen to other aircraft.

Also encountered a similar situation but with the 777, it connected to only the second forward door.
