No, look at the livery selection menu, it’s there too, it must be a situation like how some of the liveries have photos with different eingens than they have, whare it was changed after promo photos were taken…
You can, it’s actually recommend to fly with them open, it doubles you’re range… 😉

Oh my goodness!! I was flying the TBM the other day and I thought the EXACT SAME THING!!! I think it is
During development there were two pilots in the cockpit. It got changed to one pilot in the civilian clothing later on in development.
