I’ve been asking myself this question for weeks; Can I land a real plane after flying IF a few times and mastering it? Whats your answer?
obviously no
Why is it being deleted?
Yes plane Remote Control in real life Lol
Impossible. You can’t just fly an airplane just because you mastered an amateur flight simulator. Flying a real airliner requires more training.
Because its useless, you can’t fly a real plane after mastering IF
IF will not teach you how to land a plane in real life. It takes a lot more training than a simulator to land a plane. Most airlines require you to have completed simulator training and then have 1000 hours of actual flight time in order to be certified. Remember you’re using an electronic device and not the actual instruments to land. Finally, unless you’re flying the 787, A350 or A380 you will not have a HUD and even then the only guaranteed aircraft with a HUD is the 787.
No way IF is realistic but made easier for young kids and new people. It take years of training to even try to be a pilot
In IF you can learn basics like winds, etc.
With help of ATC I think you can land aircraft on APPR
If you can locate all those button and wheels…i think i would been lost in areal cockpit…
You may be able to use the autopilot on an actual airline if it’s set up correctly before you start using it but beyond that you will not.
Well, a real cockpit isn’t 11 buttons and 2 sliders, so no.
You can learn stuff that you’ll need to fly a plane, but you definitely can’t learn how to fly a plane in IF.
In the video a stewardess of Aeroflot lands A320 with help of ATC and APPR. So I guess everybody can land the plane with help of professionals of course.
Well all instruction for newcomers is done by trained personnel.
Do you know how many other controls are in a cockpit besides Heading, Autopilot , Trim, ,velocity, speed, lights, and No smoking and seat bell sign ??
It takes about 3 years to train to be a pilot it takes a day to learn how to fly a plane on infinite flight
Although the input of those on the forum who have their PPL and/or CPL should be taken with the most weight as they actually have their wings and can better compare IF to real world.
Let’s say it gives you the basics. :)
The most realistic and detailed on a mobile device imho.
IF will help make your first flying lesson and first few hours a little less daunting, so it does have value.
The Cessna 172 is a good representation of the real plane.
