Recently I have been thinking about getting pro I have been playing if for almost 2 years. I really want to get it, but is it worth it, and what’s Australia like.

Not trying to be bias, but yes it is. How I made my decision was I told myself I’ll try a month and see if I like it. Here I am, 6 years later. But whatever you choose is what matters.

I think free infinite flight is so lame, you can cancel your subscription whenever u want, u can pay a month and if u didnt like it then u can cancel it for the next month

A bit of a long reply…………but oh man, what I can tell you, compared to limited airports, planes, and only solo mode, it’s huge difference, in a good way. It’s very realistic, and there are so many different routes you can fly with any plane you want, plus the events and featured airports. I personally love flying with other real people around, and recreating real-life flights in-game, it’s so fun and realistic. With the accuracy of the plane models, 3D airports, and air traffic control, man is it an experience. What I will say though, is that if you’re not already familiar with atc and the real-life way of flying (e.g. following ATC instructions, taxi speeds, vertical speeds, cruising altitudes, landing and takeoff speeds, understanding ATIS, etc.), it’s worth it to take some time out to research and practice. If you still are unsure, definitely rent for 1 day, that way there’s no pressure of having to stick with it for a minimum of a month. If you really want to get the most out of pro, I recommend getting subscribing for one month during December, as well as possibly getting a semi-year subscription for the summer months if you really enjoy it, to save a bit of money. Me personally, I only get the monthly if I do subscribe, and from time to time also rent on some weekends when I’m free. Also, as far as I know, most of the major airports in Australia are 3D in-game, and the rest are soon to be released for sure.

Monthly, first time around, then once you’re for sure down, yearly
If you were to pick between those 3 options, definitely monthly, but just 1 month to begin with. But as I said earlier, I highly recommend you rent for 1 day first and see for yourself!

For most people it comes down to value, yes there are other simulator apps but no simulator is perfect. The reason I chose IF was because,
- It’s quite Cheap, like in India it’s 10 dollars yearly and a couple of cents for a month.
- Its community is much better than other sims. Like 100 percent better. (RFS Flight Chat
ifykyk) - Multiplayer, I feel this is an extremely amazing feature, and the hubs and the work by the community like hub of the day, flyouts etc actually make the servers feel full and professional.
- Plus the fact that IF has a free version with limited aircraft it means I was able to test out the product itself for free before buying, a hard ask on any other flight sim.
These are basically the convinces the subscription will bring you over subscribing for other flight sim apps. Cons are basically, limited 3d airports in key destinations, graphics, etc but no Flight sim has completely fixed all of these and the IF devs are working very actively on these

Infinite Flight Pro is the only true way to enjoy Infinite Flight, since the free version is extremely restrictive in terms of where and what you can fly. I’ve been on Pro since late 2022, and I’ve enjoyed it so far.
Just give it a try if you don’t like it you can request for a refund on both iOS and Android.
But I’m sure you’ll like it. I’d also suggest you to join a virtual airline for more structure and immersion.
Australia gets events and and atc very often but it depends on your grade.
