Not in RL simply because all aircraft have defined limits for maximum flying altitude. Any higher, and it is no longer considered safe to operate!
For A350-1000, its 41, 450 ft
For A350-900 its 43,100 ft
However on IF Sim, its possible but the engines will be under a lot of strain close or at full power if you attempt to exceed altitude limits the aircraft designed for.

Ok but your question is it realistic and the answer is no. Not at FL440.
In any event, if you fly at FL440 and something happened to the flight, for example exceeding cruise speed or even a stall resulting a crash with viols, it will very likely not to be overturned on appeal because simply the fact you exceeded the maximum altitude allowed even with factors outside your control as this would be looked at as a contributing factor cause!
