Hey. I have a question - is a game controller worth it for IF?
I’m thinking about a SteelSeries Nimbus+.
After watching a few vids on YT and reading the description I know that it’s the best controller for Apple products, which I use.
So what do you think?
Personally, I haven’t heard great things about using physical controllers. But I know some people do use them regularly with no problems.
No better way to find out than giving it a try, if you have one lying around test it out with a Standard X-Box / Ps controller and see if it´s what you like.
But I haven’t got one… looking to buy one, and I don’t want anything that you need a computer for ( like a joystick, which I think aren’t yet on iPadOS)
As per what is stated in the toppic(s) above, you will need to use a computer running a third party programm to suport your controller on IOS.
For Android you can use a adapter cable which is a lot simpler.
As to my knowlege there is no way of simply having a Controller and a Ipad which perfectly work together with no additions.
No, the SteelSeries Nimbus+ is able to connect directly to my iPad via Bluetooth. And is designed to work perfectly like this
If you have a PS4, you can connect w Bluetooth. No special adapters, programs, of wires needed.
