If you keep the brightness low you should be fine. It has a small low resolution screen, as I said that will certainly keep the drainage down…
The iPod 2019 is great, but it has an A10 Fusion chip and a sightly updated 4 inch display. It is mostly marketed towards parents who want to get their child a device etc. You can try a used iPhone 7+, or an iPad Mini. Also, with the given RAM, the iPod is probably going to bet laggy in the future, when Apple releases newer versions of iOS.
The iPhone 7 costs $500 compared to the iPods $200
I do have an iPhone 6s, it’s just that I dont know if it will lag, due to it being old
A used iPhone 7 on Amazon costs $212
Wrong, most of the older iPhones aren’t new but actually refurbished/reconditioned devices - the key word here is most.
Even if its wrapped in a box and cellophane on the back of the boxes it might say “refurbished by apple”
This is true if you buy from Apple but honestly it’s a 3 year old device, you’re better off buying it from Amazon refurbished.
That’s a decent price - most likely refurbished and backed by a guarantee as well!
As I’m writing this a brand new iPad 2018 wifi - 128GB is on sale for $349 on Amazon!
Granted its still 2gb ram and using the same A10 processor you’ll have a larger screen and battery to cover :)
You sure? On the Apple UK website I can buy a completely new (New, I mean it.) for £449 for the 32GB model. iPhone - Apple (UK)
I have an iPad Air, it’s just that I’m locked out of it. I dont know how to get rid of the passcode
If you know your icloud login details then its not that hard to reset the tablet.
Can we please stick to the topic and not talk about other products
Thanks
iPhones and iPads are still in the scope of the conversation as they are closely priced to the OP’s original question and essentially the same product in a sense
Like I said, most of the older iPhone’s - I have no doubt that they still have inventory that is actually unopened and new
probably right, they probably made loads and loads to stock them up and keep them.
