My phone really hot after 1 takeoff or landing with all the settings turned down in solo and cellular and Bluetooth turned off, I also have a iPhone 14 that is like 2 months old, how is this happening?
Can you try to reduce the screen brightness please? Sometimes, too bright on screen may cause overheat. This might be one of reasons
I have but it still doesn’t work, I must not have mentioned it.
Hey, have you tried restarting your device before launching the game? It helps a lot as it clears the RAM for IF.
Maybe close all apps then open only infinite flight?
I have a 14 pro max and I haven’t had any issues with overheating.
Have you tried:
- Removing any cases while playing
- Keeping the phone out of sun / in a cool environment
- Turning off anti-Aliasing and other settings
Hope this helps.
It is normal for a modern phone to get real warm when running something as intensive as IF.
The things have processors that rival the processing power of those found in laptops/macs (some of which even have fans to try to deal with the heat), and similarly having similar levels of heat production
At the end of the day, the best you can do it keep the brightness like half way or so, remove any case you may have, and refrain from charging while playing. Some users even have heat sinks with fans on them for their phones
So I will add my phone does not shut down from overheating it just gets hot
Rather normal when running IF
I agree. There is no overheating
No the 14pro is god like, I haven’t had problems either. But I have noticed that loading terrain can lead to a increase in heat, but nothing I would describe as over heating.
Hmm I see the problem
For me, i have an Iphone 12 Mini and it alwaya is getting hot. Thats just normal. But i recommend closing all apps when playing and lower the screen brightness to the minimum. Also turn on the low power mode In-game, it will lower the FPS to 10 after some minutes. That really helps for me, try that out!
After about 10 minutes after using infinite flight my phone was 97 degrees is that normal
I don’t fly on my iPhone 14, but when I do on solo server for fun, it overheats really quickly. Also, I have a MagSafe case, and that’s really thick.
You could also look into utilizing an iPad. Not sure what your budget is, but it is way better that using an iPhone, for me at least. My iPad has not had any issues with overheating.
Oh yeah because I have $1,000 sitting around. Not everyone has enough money to also buy an iPad for a game.
in what unit and how are you measuring it
Fahrenheit
