iPhone 11 or Razer Phone 2?

Hello IFC!

I am finally allowed to get a phone and provided I do some deep research, my parents have given me the decision to choose my phone of choice.

After tons of research, I have decided to either buy the iPhone 11, or Razer Phone 2. Phones are always way cheaper in Hong Kong (where I am currently stationed), so I have decided to buy them here instead of other countries.

The iPhone 11 (not Pro) costs HK$5999 - approximately US$750.

The Razer Phone 2 costs HK$4999 - approximately US$625.

To be honest, I want the Razer Phone 2 instead of the iPhone 11. But, what do you think? Which will be a better phone overall and which one can run If with the best graphics possible?

And please keep in mind, don’t be bias just because it’s Apple or just because it’s Razer!

If you are looking purely at how well it can run IF, at highest settings, then razer phone beats the iPhone in a heartbeat. Performance wise, iPhones are a little lacklustre.

Mind you, there are many other factors you should consider before purchasing a phone, but if you’re an android lover anyway, then go right ahead.

I’m more of a Apple fan, but when I saw the Razer I just fell in love with it. It’s amazing!

Keep in mind however, if you previously purchased IF on an iOS device, you need to purchase it again on android.

I’ve been an ā€œApple sheepā€ so to speak for my entire life as I love iOS, but I’ve heard from my friends that android phones are better and I’ve been wronged my whole life. Nonetheless, both phones are massively capable of running IF at maximum settings for sure, so that isn’t your problem - consider other aspects of the phone before purchasing.

I have never had any experience with any of these phones but from what I have heard the iPhone is good. I think thay are all good NY the look of them. If you have enough money I think you should get the iPhone, and if you have a little less money. Get the Razer Phone 2. 😁

But why? Just because it’s Apple?

It all comes down to personal preference. If you’re an apple guy, you should go for the iPhone as you’ll have a pretty good phone to use for other things other than infinite flight.

So it should run If better than the iPhone 11, right?

No no way razor have liquid cooling best graphics and everything iPhone 11 doesn’t have that

um, none of that matters. As I said, both phones can run IF at max settings easily. Your decision should be based on other factors, like software, price, design, etc.

You have to remember how practice is the Razar as a phone when it’s not running IF?

Apple is more bankable for developers. So if I was developer I know where I’d do my best.
Sorry for the pecuniary approach!

Just like others have mentioned, I don’t think you should base your decision of buying a phone with regards to which can run IF on the highest graphics (until unless you’re purely looking for a gaming phone only). The best all round phone according to me out of the two options you’re looking at is definitely the IPhone 11. The reason why I wouldn’t choose the razor phone has nothing to do with the in-built specs of the device but more to do with the size and weight of the phone as I don’t find it feasible to carry it around in my pockets. It’s heavy and feels like a brick in your pocket.

Ok, so I’m still at the same point where I was before… I’ll ask my dad if he thinks Razer is a good idea: if not, I’ll go with the iPhone 11!
