Hey IFC! I was wondering if the iPad Air Gen 3 supports anti-aliasing? If it does, how come basically everything around turns black whenever it is on? I had it on fine before but I didn’t know what it meant, so I turned it off and re-turned it back on then this issue happened. Thanks!
Hello,
Are you able to provide a screenshot of what you see once you turn anti-aliasing back on?
Have you also tried restarting your app?
I am currently mid-flight right now en-route from KATL-KSEA. I am unable to provide a screenshot at this time, but after this flight I am going to restart the app and see if it works.
No worries. It would probably be best to provide a screenshot of the issue as soon as you’ve got a chance.
Also let us know whether or not restarting the app solves the issue that you’re experiencing.
Well my game crashed as I was trying to land on my flight from ATL-SEA 😡. I only had my graphics on high and the FPS at 60. Let’s just say I don’t plan to use 60FPS and anti-aliasing since I do not wanna risk my game crashing again.
The iPad Air 3rd Generation was released in 2019, therefore the device is around four years old.
I would strongly suggest lowering your graphic settings and limiting your frame rate to 30fps compared to 60fps to reduce the chance of your app crashing.

Thank you, you too!
What is anti aliasing?
Anti-aliasing is a technique that smooths out the edges seen in images while playing games on mobile and PC. It makes them appear less blurred and blends colours to make visuals appear natural.
If you don’t have anti-aliasing selected in app, your aircraft graphics would appear “jaggy” and not have smooth edges/blends.
