IPad Air 2022 64GB

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a new device for Infinite Flight.

Would the 2022 IPad Air 64GB model be sufficient? I plan on using the device for solely Infinite Flight.

Hey, I use the iPad mini 2021 64GB and it works really well with Infinite Flight. It has good FPS and good battery life. So I think the iPad air will work even better.

I can tell you, I used an older model of the iPad Air and it crashed 50% of the time. I can not tell if it was because it was an older model or whether it was because it is an air. But that is my experience. However now I use a 12.9-inch iPad Pro (5th generation) with 128 GB and it works a dream, no overheating, good battery life and not even airport editing on the highest level of graphics can shake it.

Hey! I use the Ipad pro first version. It is a old one from 2015 but it does work realy good! For the price I would suggest the Ipad 2022

iPad Air 2022 64GB user here.
If you’re playing IF only it’ll be more than sufficient. Performs well in all high graphic and 60fps for both flying and scenery editing.
However if you have enough budget I’d recommend 256GB version. You’ll probably find yourself using other apps as well and in that case 64GB feels a bit tight.

Hey there, any iPad like 5th or 6th gen or later will work perfectly for IF. I use a 7th gen 128gb and IF takes up almost 18gb of data. As you say you’re using this device solely for IF, I’d recommend pretty much ONLY using your device for IF or upgrading to something like a 128gb or whatever’s available. Hope that helps a bit :)

I’m still rocking the 2018 iPad 6th gen with 128GB and it works perfectly fine so I’m sure the 2022 one would be even better

I have an iPad 9th gen with 64gb storage and I use it for many things other than IF, but it works fine!

I have this iPad it worked fine until 22.8 came out it became laggy and heated up my device and drained the battery so I moved onto a better flight sim, there was nothing wrong with my iPad because it ran smoothly with maximum graphing other games except IF. So I wouldn’t recommend getting it for IF
