On my iPad 2 almost every single time the application crashes when I’m using the dash 8. It seems that when I’m at a very busy airport thats when it happens most often but other times I have been on approach and it just crashes ( the application). I realize the update did just come out but if you could look into this it would be great because I luv IF and it just gets me frustrated when that happens. also Ik somebody will ask me this , " have you tried restarting ur device "? the answer is yes many times .
Maybe it’s just because your device is old.
I’ve thought of that but its run smoothly until this.
I’m having frame drop issues with the iPad 4, I can’t imagine an iPad 2 being usable.
The new update seems to be more resource intensive.
It is the first update that can take advantage of the performance on the iPad Pro.
I don’t know. It would be stupid to make it so that it would only be smooth on the iPad pro.
Well, no, the level of resource intensiveness goes up with each update. So the maximum resource intensiveness goes up each time a new, faster and better device comes out. I would imagine the minimum resource intensiveness goes up as well.
Sounds like a bad design.
The new map overlay is probably more resource intensive. I have no issues with my iPhone 6, it’s just my iPad 4 that has issues.
Haha my 5s has absolutely no lag! But my iPad 2 does. I think it is a device issue. Just old.
It’s probably time to retire the old girl and get a newer iPad. Apparently a new one is coming out on March 21.
