Hey everyone, this isnt necessary a support post, but I wanted to ask if clearing cache every hour or so will reduce the chances of a crash. I am only asking since I have done a long haul from EWR-SIN and I crashed over the Indian sea. I wanted to ask if maybe clearing cache once in a while DURING the flight would be a good idea. I have already done the IOS crash support topic, like restarting the device, putting plane count to none, graphics low and all of that.

The crashes are mainly due to a constraint on system resources. Rebuilding the cache allows for fresh content to be streamed to the device. I don’t know how much of a benefit clearing the cache often will do.

How do you reset cache?

Cache in what? The app or IFC?
