Some of you know Waypoint, the free live map/radar for Infinite Flight. Today I’m excited to open up its biggest addition yet: Waypoint OS — a whole little tablet operating system for IF pilots, right in your browser (and in the Waypoint app).
Think of it as an EFB that actually feels like a device: a homescreen with widgets, and full-screen “apps” you flip between while you fly. It’s completely free, works on phone, desktop and in the app, and.
A few of the apps
Fly — your copilot. Phase-by-phase callouts, a live top-of-descent countdown, VNAV path, fuel check, and a voice copilot that talks you through the flight. Link it to Infinite Flight and it reads your real airspeed, gear and flaps for the proper takeoff/landing calls.
Plan. Import or generate a SimBrief OFP, or build a quick great-circle — full navlog, fuel breakdown, dep/arr weather, then fly it straight into a flight folder.
Performance & Load. Takeoff/climb/landing numbers, field-length checks, a full loadsheet (OEW → ZFW → TOW → LDW) and fuel plan.
Weather. METAR/TAF, winds aloft with barbs, runway wind & density altitude, SIGMETs.
Charts, Checklists, Airports, Taxi, Traffic (TCAS), Divert, Calendar, Logbook — and more.
ATC copilot (beta). When linked to IF, it alerts you when ATC is awaiting a reply and reads the incoming radio aloud.
Crew. If you fly for a virtual airline, your VA’s tools show up right inside the OS.
How to open it: On desktop, click the Waypoint OS button on the right edge of the map.
On mobile, tap your profile (top-right) → Waypoint OS. Sign in to sync your setup across devices.
