International Travel - Where Should I Go?

Are you okay with flying with economy seating on the way back

If your plan is to save money, then take Premium Economy on SQ21 (Comfort level is decent as long as you move your body throughout the flight) , if your plan is to experience luxury, then take a long haul flight because in my opinion 7h crossing the Atlantic to Europe is not enough time to experience business/first class luxury.

If you have many miles and have lots of spare time, why not fly to somewhere exotic like Wakanda? (Joke)

Thank would fly to Los Cabos! The approach is stunning and the city is extraordinary

@Bobby you can come to Sydney business/first class milesaaver from Boston international airport return from 80k miles each way

How about Iceland? I love Iceland and going!

I went ahead and looked at the specifics for the flights and it would put us on Economy for the SYD flight and Business on only the one domestic flight while still paying the 80K/ticket fare.

I’ll take a look at Reykjavik again! I saw a few low fares on both WOW and Icelandair so I’ll definitely look at that again :)

I would personally fly WOW air as there current fares are beyond low. Some of there fares are cheaper than Spirit and Southwest!

Sweet! I took a look at BOS-KEF from April 13th to the 18th and the two of us could fly Saga Premium for about $4800 total.

Took a look at WOW for the same dates as above and the two of us could fly WOW comfy for about $1100 total.

WOW would probably be more economical, but you’re probably getting a better level of service with Icelandair since WOW doesn’t have their premium class on their A321s.

Well remember WOW is low cost, and dying as well, so don’t expect the best

I heard that the British Airways business class on their A380 is terrible. Like to the point where it’s not worth the money or the points. I’m sure the Brits can confirm when they wake up.

Personal opinion is that you should go to Munich for a week (if you are looking for a exploring vacation and not a beach one). Lovely city.

If you are really looking for a great vacation and spending a lot of points I would look to go to Dubai. I went there for 5 nights and could have spent even more time there. Absolutely amazing city and due to the proximity of Abu Dhabi you can visit there as well.

@The_Geniusman @RotorGuy thank you! I’ll take a look at those destinations when I get home this afternoon.

The one thing I remember when I looked at airfare to Dubai a while back was that it was pretty expensive, but what isn’t these days? 🤷🏻‍♂️

One awesome trip for you could be taking the Emirates A388 in business class from KJFK-LIMC (Milan). You could then explore different parts of the beautiful peninsula of Italy!

Everything about Dubai is expensive. They best way to fly there is usually Emirates (best airline I’ve been on). You can take their A380 there from JFK.

IMO, if you fly to London and you can choose BA or AA, I would 100% go American and even spend the extra miles. British airways business class is in short, garbage compared to AA’s business class product. I would also fly domestic to national hotspots on first class. My dad has flown BA business and AA bussiness for company travels and he drastically liked AA over BA. Just search on YouTube british airways business, 2-4-2 versus 1-2-1. You pick.

sorry any bitirsh folks, I mean no insult to you guys
