Interesting ATC Communication at EBBR

While controlling EBBR, I just got a transmission from an aircraft that was at EHAM. It has only happened once so far, but just wanted to inform.

Operating system: iOS 18.1.1

This happens whenever someone doesn’t leave your frequency it isn’t a bug

They were never in my airspace. They spawned and were taxiing at EHAM. Hence the second picture of them at EHAM. I was controlling EBBR.

  1. I tapped their callsign showing up on my frequency.
    a. EHAM frequency: 118.60 MHz
    b. EBBR frequency: 119.22 MHz

  2. I had to zoom out to find their location with their icon encircled and I think they were at EHAM.

  3. I tapped, ‘Show Information.’

  4. Verified callsign, ‘KLM 8716 Flight of 6.’

  5. EHAM and EBBR are a few nautical miles apart.
