Would like to discuss airports that are challenging to land at and/or located in beautiful places and hence worth checking out in global. The link below has a few airports and one of my favorites that isn’t listed is Christiano Ronaldo International Airport (formerly Funchal Airport).
Feel free to chime in, cheers!

I had started this up a few months ago…all still valid, good airports for pattern work or to fly to/from for various reasons:
Suggested Airports for Pattern Work
Often times I find myself with five or ten minutes of free time between meetings, when I’m waiting to pick up the kids somewhere, or doing something else simply killing time. Not enough time to do a short haul, but enough time to go check out some random airports and do some pattern work.

Here is a link to a map of airports submitted in this thre…

Do we really need to do this again?
I’m back with a new topic to discuss about, instead of the usual what plane you love type of questions, I’m back with my own what kind of airport you like or would like to land in edition. I have been thinking for a topic in which viewers could share the experiences when it comes to the kind of airports they would like to land on or would love to land at.When it comes to airports, I prefer airports that have a long runway(gives me time to determine where I will land or how much my rate of decen…
Since global released not long ago, we have pretty much every airport in the world to fly to. Most of these airports have pretty easy approaches, but some, of course, have very difficult ones. Realistic or not, share with us your hardest approach so far!
Personally for me it was an Innsbruck approach I made up yesterday. While flying from Vienna in an Asutrian q400, I entered a right downwind to the runway (forgot the exact number of the runway), and I quickly did a sharp turn as soon as I was …
Hey guys! I’ve been flying on Global and I want to try out some scenic airports with good scenery, and/or hard approaches. Any suggestions?
KTUS has a great desert approach, especially for 19R
