Inside the cockpit of an A220

I had no idea that this plane even existed, how about you?

“Its state-of-the-art touchscreens more closely resemble something from a spacecraft than an airplane.”

“While the A220-300 officially debuted at the Farnborough Airshow 2018 in July, it actually entered service several years earlier, under a different brand name”

Wow… I thought everyone here knew about the C series rebranding.

You didn’t know the plane or you didn’t know it passed from CS300 to A220-300?
Edit: Nevermind, just saw the"even" word

I didn’t know anything about either. I also almost thought that it was a typo on the news site. It is listed as one of there top articles.

This plane looks like the child of a B787 with an A350

It looks like an A320 cockpit and an E190 cockpit combined imo

I just finished watching the video. The pilot said that they flew at an altitude of 41,000 ft. But, I thought that was not allowed for commercial jetliners. And if you are flying privately, don’t you need a special certification to fly above 40,000 ft?

Not if they have permission. They may have special permission for special or none special circumstances. As far as I was told anyway.

Okay, got it. But they can’t normally.
