If I do head on shots, maybe they’ll look less backlit.

My bone craving was also satisfied today :upside_down_face:

The planes were heading towards the sun, so it couldn’t possibly be backlit

I’ll wait for a little bit
(180-600 is $1900)

There is a pretty decent 150-500Z Tamron for like half that if you’re interested in third party. Not the best lens ever with some key weaknesses but $1000 for 500mm and no adaptor isn’t the worst deal.

I haven’t looked much at lenses (mainly because I’m not interested in buying one rn) and just did a quick search when you mentioned it lol. Might consider a third party if it is half the price

Whats your setup?

@Darkspoul has the lens on his Z5 so you can ask him about it

70-200 on a Z7 I think. Very high end setup but you’re playing catch up for this type of photo with that little reach.

Only 200mm?! @Butter575, invest in at least a 300mm. It shouldn’t cost you more than $500 or $600. When I get my Z6, I’m going to get a 150-500mm, because otherwise you’re just extremely limited.

Don’t go third party lenses on Nikon (when I mean 3rd party I mean don’t adapt different mounts into a z mount camera it won’t go well) I’d stick with a direct z mount lens if I were you

Shhhh the IFC doesn’t know about that yet :eyes:
