IF Remote is a completely different app – it is designed primarily to let you monitor and interact with your flight when you leave it running on a device (usually an iPad) but are not near that device. That app is currently for iOS/iPadOS and we are considering whether to bring it to Android.
InfiniteTrack is a flight tracker/map app initially for Android similar in concept to Infinite View, InfiniteInfo, etc
Maybe add the abbility to search for airports via the ICAO-Code(EGLL) as well as the IATA-Code(LHR). Just for more convenience cause I don’t always know the ICAO-Code sometimes I just know the IATA-Code. And once you found your airport it would display both of the codes, one on left side and one on the right side of the screen.
Please be aware that we will be performing some maintenance work on the backend services supporting the InfiniteTrack app today (10 August 2025). You may experience periods during the day when the application does not work (or certain features do not work).
Also maybe it shouldn’t zoom out so much. Cause if you are trying to select another one that is close to it you always have to zoom in again which is quite anoying.
Finally, someone has created IF trackers for Android version! I had enough with iOS version that they always got nice things while Android never have which is big disappointment especially false promise (IFRemote) to people!
We’re glad to hear that you are happy there’s a tracker for Android!
I’m a bit confused by what you wrote though - we are also the developers of IF Remote, and we never made any promise to create an Android version so I’m unsure what “false promise” has been made here. We only ever said we would investigate whether it’s possible to produce at some point. The fact is that the Infinite Flight community is majority-iOS users as far as the statistics we have been able to gather tell us, and since our team has an iOS-oriented background, that’s what we were able to produce.
Ironically enough, with the timing of your reply, I’d advise you and other Android users to keep an eye out for an update on the IF Remote thread - you may be pleasantly surprised!
Well, it’s good to have it on Android but still not 100% same features as iOS version. Feels like a knock off or downgrade version of iOS IFRemote with less feature and uninteresting design. I just wish you guys did copy all features completely from iOS version
I did comment that in IFRemote Instagram where they will discussed if they want to or not (fortunely you did now). Like other third party, they promise will shipped to Android platform, yet never made it which false promise and very disappointing. It makes me a bit anti iOS for a reason
Maybe the livery selector should also be aviailable even when you haven’t selected an aircraft so you can see every aircraft that is flying with the livery you selected doesn’t matter which type of aircraft it is.
Also the app is kinda slow and buggy sometimes maybe roll an update for it and make it run smoothly.
