What makes a busy airport.

A few weeks ago I was in a que for 25 minutes at WMKK
It’s KLAX!
Clemente in a close second after LAX. Takes forever for aircraft to taxi off because people don’t understand the concept of a realistic, longer landing and because there’s a one tiny taxiway from the ramp (or “gates” if you will) leading to the main taxiway which handles departures and arrivals. Lots of incoming traffic increasinf wait times
I can’t ever remember having hundreds of planes on the ground at one time in London City😄.
I can. My first ever controlling. Had about more than 20 arrivals and departurey in 10min at EGLC

This really depends on the server you’re on, and what events are happening. During an FNF, Controlling PHNL Tower on the Advanced server, I had a friend control ground, he managed at least 15 planes at any time just crossing runways, operating off of 04L and 04R for departures. Other times newer Advanced Controllers can get 4-5 planes in 10 minutes. Controlling KSAN on the Playground server will be different then controlling Oshkosh on the playground server. So it really is just what server you fly on, what time you fly at, and the experiences you have. LAX could easily be the busiest airport in Infinite Flight on the Playground Server, but if you only fly on the Advanced Server, you might say EGLC or EGBB because you’ve never experienced KLAX be busy enough to be counted here. That’s all I’m saying, have a good night!
Nothing like having 12 planes waiting to takeoff and another 12 in the pattern at EGBB lol
I can’t remember what server but a while back it was packed. You couldn’t move from the gate.
London city gets busy on live because it’s a small airport not meant to handle all this traffic. Especially when 27 is active and you need to back taxi.
I’ve held up traffic holding short for long time while controlling. The back taxi makes it hard to get a lot of departures out.
Free Flight - Half Moon Bay (KHAF)
Playground - San Clemente (KNUC)
Advanced - Wherever ATC is
KSFO is the busiest on free flight
KNUC has to be the busiest on the Playground. Only one small taxiway, one runway, and everyone loves that airport. KLAX comes second.
KNUC is for people that cannot afford to get TNCM in the Caribbean probably. But they can get Live and every other aircraft but TNCM :(
Of course it’s KLAX.
The reason it’s KLAX is because APG, it’s really busy over there. You hear your call after a minute you select it.
It’s also part of a very popular region and the reason that region is popular is because it’s a frequency known one.
I don’t see why they could of chose KORD. I mean, it’s free!
And it’s better than KLAX.
