I will be completing my 4th IFWT in a day or 2. Thoroughly enjoyed it once again.
Remember, if you are a pilot who finds the unrealistically insane world tour traffic stressful, worry you may make mistakes, anything that puts you off taking part, consider competing the tour 1 or 2 days behind the main traffic.
I learnt early on that this is the most stress free and enjoyable way to take part & you can still experience some ATC a day or 2 behind.
I’ve done this since WT1 when I had to appeal an overzealous vio given by an understandably overworked/stressed controller. Never looked back and have completed all 4 world tours this way

And I missed the whole world tour because of a small mistake with no proof
