I have really enjoyed this program. Kudos to the team!
Not really, ATC knows better than the pilots, hence that is why they are called the āControllersā, they control the traffic to make sure they are safe from any unwanted situations
Maybe in infinite flight but not the real world. They are sitting comfortable on the ground looking at radar scopes. In and around the airports they have more power but its alway up to the pilot to maintain safe operation of the aircraft in flight. If i was flying a heavy with a final approach speed of 167 and you were in lets say a dash 8 with a F.A.S. of 123 kts. I would rightfully be issued a GA instructions. But we pots have the leeway to avoide other traffic if they donāt issue any traffic alerts. With some of the controllers in if i rather avoid controlled airports mainly due to serious lag on my end.
I disagree with the āsitting comfortably on the groundā, to take a real life factor not all controllers are working in the tower and they donāt look comfortable at all since they need to count as many kind of possibilities that might happen in a few seconds or minutes. While in IF, itās understandable if the clearances or vectors were given late especially in busy airspace, apart all of that rules are meant to be followed unless certain circumstances has been met, like the Dash 8 situation.

KJFK was very busy. I holded side by side with Delta 442. If you see me, I was Air Canada 554. My estimated flight time was 55mins but the flight took 1hr 45mins.
Does anyone know how to see your past flights on InfiniteX?
That is why it is a must for you to check the NOTAMS (Notice To Air Mens) before flying š«”
left for London, we are getting closer to home anyway beautiful event, all the flights done so far, this round the world tour is beautiful
I guess Iām not the only one
That one person who spends his entire feb doing all the flights and not leaving out a single one
Coolest world tour ever for any flight sim
here I am, but you canāt skip a tour like this
I enjoy ATC but I donāt seek it out. Normal volumes when ATC is open is fun & realistic, the volumes of traffic during peak tour times is just not fun or realistic so im going a day behind š«”
I lasted a week, but like the last tour, the only thing that becomes stressful is whether your flight gets wasted or you get in trouble because itās too chaotic & everyoneās getting stroppy controlling it. My experience in YYZ was shocking thatās all Iāll say šš»
Everyone is human everyone can make mistakes. Back to enjoying the tour in a more sensible, less stressful way š«”
I appreciate your opinion and I totally agree with āhuman make mistakesā because how else can we, the humans learn without making a mistakes, right? And yes everyone has their own preferability on flying into a busy airspace or totally chill airspace, with that being said if youāre flying on a busy airspace, remember to check the NOTAMS and expect the delays and follow the rules š¹

On my way to EGLLš«”
On approach into Heathrow on London Center frequency, I canāt help but feel a lot of the ATC would be smoother and more helpful for IFATC if people knew what the right calls are to make tat what time (i.e. check in rather than request flight following, requests for climbs to altitudes, request approach as you soon as you tune into approach, reading ATIS).
