Some things depend on user preference, like Infinite flight controls are very simple compared to xplane.
Its not better or worse, its just different.
Some other things are better and worse.

I seriously doubt Roblox even qualifies as a “competitor”
Anyhow, I don’t know much about XPlane, but when you look at RFS, it has quite a few small features that IF is unfortunately missing. These would be contrails, tire smoke, and checklists, including one or two more.
However, that having been said, RFS is nowhere near the level of detail and realism IF has in terms of its aircraft.

I also think Aerofly is also ok. The scenery in some locations are quite nice. 3d / 2d popup buildings and structures. But gameplay so-so.
Gameplay and funfactor IF takes it for me. From the ease of use and multiplayer aspect, as well as the community. Planes are of good variety. Please update the 747 😁😁
Xplane Mobile - only several planes work like the 737 with a fully functional cockpit and mechanics. Whereas 777 or a320 are just 👎.

Also RFS has way better ground systems, like boarding and such.
But RFS is more for roleplay and IF is way to simple.
What i think would be cool is seeing passengers board the plane until they reach the quantity you set in weight and balance, or until you press “finish boarding” then the passengers board instantly.
The same with fuel and cargo.
Maybe i should make a feature request

Basically animations. I believe all of this has been addressed as possible features already, such as City Lighting and weather including contrails etc have all been requested as features nearly 10 years ago now 😪
