Infinite Flight trip report: DL182 from Osaka to Seattle

Hello all! I had a very nice flight from RJBB-KSEA on the Delta 767. Flight time was 9 hours and 32 minutes. I have decided to make a trip report for this flight! I haven’t done one of these for a few months, so enjoy!

Hey there! After arriving on Cathay from Hong Kong in an A330 to Osaka, I flew back to Seattle on a Delta 767-300, registered N156DL. I found my seat of 23A and saw another Delta 767, plus a Thai A330.

We pushed back on time from Gate 1, and taxiied to runway 24L.

After an Emirates 777-300ER left for Dubai in front of us, we were next to go. After a quick, but smooth takeoff roll, we left the ground.

We then climbed to 33,000 feet. I opted out of the first meal, as I wanted to get some shut-eye. I took this picture north of Tokyo.

After about 5 hours of sleep, I woke up and saw that we were south of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. It was dark, so the picture is hard to see. It was also very starry.

Once the sun began to rise, I knew that soon I would be back in Seattle. About this time, the flight attendants began to serve breakfast.

About an hour later, we began our decent into Seattle. The flight was very quiet and calm. Our initial decent was a bit bumpy, but near the end it was smooth. We soon turned final at Seattle.
We then came into final and then landed on 16C, as an Alaska A320 rolled off 16L to San Jose, California.

Welcome to Seattle! The same A320 is now rotating.

A quick taxi lead us to gate S12, where a Delta 787 was parked.

Overall, I enjoyed this trip, and hope to fly this route again.

Thanks for reading! Here are my other reports.

Thanks for reading this and have a great rest of your day!
