Infinite Flight stuck on loading screen?

I was just wondering the app was stuck on the loading screen for so long? I reached out to fellow IF players I know and they say its because of my wifi? For context im using PLDT (Philippines) and they told me to use a VPN or switch to cellular. So i was wondering if there was a fix for this so I wouldn’t need to use VPN or cellular.

Device: iPhone 13
Operating system: iOS 18.1

You could switch briefly between Wifi and cellular and see what happens. VPNs are not recommended.

unfortunately switching to cellular doesn’t work too

It happened to me last Friday, just chance your wifi connection and you’ll be good

There are two ways to do this:

  • Use your data hotspot until the game is loaded, then switch to wifi during the flight. You will need to switch back to data before your approach though as PLDT is so garbage it won’t load the airport as the global server will likely not connect or;
  • Use a VPN but ensure you are using the OpenVPN settings otherwise it can lead to problems communicating with ATC, but with OpenVPN it is fine (This is what I do)
