Infinite Flight rotates 180 degrees even if rotation lock is on

Device: iPhone XR
Operating System: iOS

I was doing some pattern work today, when all of a sudden my screen rotated a 180 degrees, so I left. I checked my settings instantly after leaving, and my rotation lock was ON, so my screen shouldn’t have rotated. Although this isn’t major, it might lead to a loss in control (at least for a little bit), and could be problematic in busy airspace. This is the first time I’ve noticed it happening, but it’s possible that it has also occurred in the past, and I just didn’t notice.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it an Infinite Flight issue or an Apple issue? I doubt there’s a way to fix it, but just want to see if this has been experienced by others or not.

I’ve done some testing and it appears that the Infinite Flight app offers a one time rotation change before it fully locks itself even tho auto rotation lock is on. Could possibly be a bug or else it’s there just incase someone wants to do quick adjustment.

Kind of similar thing happened with me…when I was flying at full speed with my F22…but maybe because of winds and I flew to the space also haha.
