Blog article by Jason Rosewell
For over a decade, our community has played a crucial role in shaping Infinite Flight. The next step in that journey begins with the Infinite Flight Open Beta. This is your chance to experience upcoming content changes and provide real-world feedback before the next release. This beta represents a shift in how we create and distribute aircraft, airports, and scenery, and we’re excited to bring our most dedicated pilots along for the ride as we refine these systems together.
Good to know
- Subscriptions cannot be purchased in the beta app. To use Infinite Flight Pro in beta, you must already have an active subscription purchased from the regular App Store version, and you must have your IFC account linked. You can keep both versions installed, and you only need to sign in to the beta using the same IFC account that holds your active subscription. The beta does not provide free access to Infinite Flight Pro.
- We will start by sharing access with Infinite Flight Pro users only. If and when we require more testers, we will share the signup links publicly.
- There are known issues listed in the blog article. Testers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with those issues, as they do not require reporting.
- You are helping test. As a result, there’s a very good chance some things may be broken. If you anticipate this being an unacceptable outcome for you, this program may not be your thing.
- Instructions on how to provide feedback will be added to the blog article closer to the start of the open beta going live.
