Hey guys, I recently found this app on the AppStore called mods for flight simulator pro and wanted to know if we are allowed to use it and how do we add the mods to IF, thanks

There was a mod app found that was a scam which doesn’t work at all, so just to confirm.

Is the Infinite Flight logo copyrighted? Because this would be a violation of that copyright. I doubt that this app is approved by the Infinite Flight development team.

It would be pretty cool to have these mods with a live interactable cockpit with realistic everything but wonder if it even works

If this actually worked why bother having game update

Shouldn’t be too hard, just file a copyright infringement with Apple and the US Copyright Office. Like I said, if the Infinite Flight logo is copyrighted, this is clear infringement of it.

I am aware, however they are putting up ads on Youtube if I remember correctly, so they have to not only take it down from the Appstore, but also from platforms with ads

It’s just silly since the only picture that actually contains IF content is the thumbnail. The examples in the appstore they placed are just MSFS planes

Interesting! I’m surprised that Apple is allowing that. Normally, they are pretty good about removing fraudulent apps from the store.

Youtube is less surprising. They don’t have as stringent requirements regarding content.

Yea, not sure about the appstore this time, maybe it’s still being done. The ads keep coming back after being taken down

That is a complete and total scam. Do NOT give them any of your money or even download it. You don’t really know what information that could be taking from you without your knowledge. If you can, flag it on the App Store so it can be removed more quickly.

I wonder how IF themselves handle app like these… or those “MOD APK infinite flight free” apps, they’re really annoying tbh
