I don’t know how often this has happened for you or if no matter what, you are stuck there. I had a similar issue today where it was just stuck in the loading screen. Sometimes when I select a plane and an airport and click fly, the app just crashes and then the second time around it works. What I did today was just completely restart the app and then I didn’t have any issues.
I would definitely check out the link above in the previous reply. All good things that could help. Sometimes things like that happen but normally they are pretty quick corrected. Also, don’t overlook that it could be a device issue as well.
