Planes are being reworked every few months, with thier engine sounds being replaced with tingle inducing sound mods on select planes everytime a mayor update gets shot out. At this rate, if all of the planes gets reworked with these sounds, the game itself will be a asmr game. I believe infinite flight does this on purpose so we can compensate with our long hauls.

Actually I think the OP should take the responsibility there. I would be happy to engage and consider his points then.
If anything, Discourse should introduce a click sound effect when a topic is closed. Now that’s some ASMR if I’ve ever seen it.

It’s true actually. About 10 years ago, the developers had a meeting where they discussed what app they should build next. They decided to build a White Noise Machine but had difficulties with finding the right user interface. In the end, they picked the Flight Simulator layout. So when you’re playing Infinite Flight today, it’s actually just the UI of the white noise machine they built. But don’t tell anyone, it’s a secret 🤫
