Infinite Flight in PC with Samsung DeX

Hi everyone!

Today I’m going to show you how to use Infinite Flight in PC with Samsung DeX App!

Sadly this is compatible with a few devices only

                                    Before starting:

• This is not an official tutorial from the Infinite Flight Developers

• Only for experimental use

• Infinte Flight is a mobile flight sim, so this is not the right way to use it, however if you want to experience how it feels to run it in a PC you can do it at your discretion :)

                             What I need to run the sim?
  

First of all you will need a compatible device to run Samsung DeX, these devices are:

• Galaxy S8
• Galaxy S8+
• Galaxy S8 Active
• Galaxy Note 8
• Galaxy S9
• Galaxy S9+
• Galaxy Note9
• Galaxy S10
• Galaxy S10 5G
• Galaxy S10+
• Galaxy S10e
• Galaxy Note10
• Galaxy Note10+
• Galaxy Note10 5G
• Galaxy Note10+ 5G
• Galaxy A90 5G
• Galaxy Fold
• Galaxy S20
• Galaxy S20+
• Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G
• Galaxy Note20
• Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
• Galaxy Z Fold 2
• Samsung S20 FE

In my case I will use the Samsung S10 (Exynos)
If yout device isn’t in the list sadly this will not work :(

Other things that you will need:

• A USB-A to USB-C cable (the same that comes with your device is recommended)

• Samsung DeX app in your computer

• (Optional but recomended) A device to control the plane, it can be a console controller compatible with Bluethooth or a yoke

                                 How to run it?
  

1. You need to have Infinite Flight installed in your phone.
   

   

2. Install the Samsung DeX app in you computer and configure it, here is the link from the official Samsung
   website: https://www.samsung.com/us/explore/dex/
   

3. Once you installed Samsung DeX plug your phone to your computer with the cable.
   

   

4. The Samsung DeX app should launch automatically, if dont… just open the app
   

   

5. In your phone tap “Start now”
   

   

6. Done! Now you can see all your apps of your phone and open Infinite Flight in your PC
   

   

• Some devices may not support the plug and play function and will require a Samsung DeX Station
  ($69.99)

A curious thing about this is you can use all the functions of the sim including ATC without crashing like when using an emulator!

Here is a 77W taking off from KJFK while I’m in the Departure/Approach frecuency.

Well, it works a charm to watch a replay, but I cannot fly without a joystick alas… i had hoped to use the mobile for that, but it is a dead brick when dex is on.
