Infinite flight GA club?

Hi guys,
Me and a few others were thinking of starting a Infinite Flight general aviation club. I’ve noticed that lots of people love flying small aircraft but can’t log hours in a VA with these planes. This club will have only the Cessna Citation X, The SR22, The Cessna 172, The super decathlon and the Cessna 208. I personally love the idea of being able to log hours in these beautiful small aircraft. Based on the results of this poll me and a few other people like @MisterButler will decide if this club is needed.

The idea is so good, I wonder why no one thought of it before!

If this is an idea, and you would like to make it a reality… go to the IFVARB admins requesting to create a virtual airline that uses GA aircraft only.

MaxSez: Can’t agree @Chris_Hoover. VA’s require a King and Court plus a few Jesters. A Club is a good idea as long as there’s no hierarchy. Club , as in leaderless like minded people who rallying periodically. Wanna be a boss form your own VA so I can watch it fail, LOL… GA Club count me in!

Yes I like a club more, and I’m not of fan of logging hours. I would join a GA club, not a GA VA. Technically then it would be a VO.

How would you like this VO/VA to run!!

  • I would like to log hours
  • I don’t want to log hours and just want to get to know new pilots and fly
  • I have another idea (if so pls reply to the post it DM me)

MaxSez: Per my PM with @TheCoolPilot the initiator of this initiative;
“I supported the establishment of a GA “Club”, an unstructured rally point for GA drivers. I do not support the establishment of a structured GA VA even if it’s called a Club, which appears the direction this thread is headed.”

(There are too many wanna be King’s and Queens’s leading little bands of wannabes as it is now. That’s my position on this initiative and I’m sticking to it. Support Withdrawn!)

If someone did start a GA club, I would join in a heartbeat. The planes I fly the most in IF are GA ones, and doing patterns in them.

Hi, @Maxmustang Right now based on poll results it looks like it will be a “club” as you say and NOT a structured VA. Pilots can choose their own routes and airports tho there will be an airport and route of the week…You will probably not have to log hours and will just fly and be part of the community. So please don’t withdraw your support as right now it looks to be going your way!

The club doesn’t need a leader but it would at least need an IFVARB point of contact, so don’t jump ship yet fellow propeller admirers.

@KyleBoas… MaxSez: Vehemently disagree, no relationship with IFVARB required. Organization and structure belongs on the PM network if it even begins to smell like a VA.

I hate to say it but since this is a VO it must go through the IFVARB first and we must have there approval thought they have no reason to decline it…and btw we will have a website and a communication pltform like slack or discord.
