They’ve got to be rigging it…
Ooh Paris !
I can’t go
Qatar is better than Emirates. Hands down. If you fly on both it’s obvious.
1000% Only benefit of Emirates is higher chance of getting 388 on your flight.
I think this chance reaches 100% when flying to Mauritius
Ooh! Paris.
@Balloonchaser is here!
Hope you said hi from all of us!
It depends. Emirates is a bit more older and on many of their routes flies 10 year old planes (and they have too many of them)
Qatar Airways Since its newer has a Avg fleet age of 3-5 years hence the product is actually very modern since the planes are modern.
If you ask my dad he’ll say something different.
Emirates is a bit odd since their products vary (I think a little too much) widely depending on aircraft and route. For instance, you don’t get the “game changer first class” on many of the 77W routes. And why is the “game changer” only on the 77W and not the A380 (regardless of the A380 having showers).
Then you have the subpar 77W 2-3-2 business class on some routes and the newer 1-2-1 on others—mainly because they are in a transitioning stage. On the A380–despite retrofitting efforts—even in the best Premium ULH planes…their business class is behind by not having suite-like features that the competition offers.
The concentrated 3-4-3 economy class on 77W (and even the A380) is typical of an average airline too. Pretty much half of Emirates’ services are 77W flights, and it looks like to have anything close to a remarkable experience you’d have to book a more “premium route” that exclusively uses their best hard & soft products (there are not many of them).
It’s pretty clear to me why Emirates is not going to be top 3 and stay a 4-star airline. Their overall rating is being dragged down by having too much variety and discrepancy between products.
Despite all that…I’ve never taken Qatar—but honestly I don’t think I ever will in the near future, because I don’t really have a need to. I’ve been very happy with Emirates, and I’ve done 18 flights with them since 2022.
Personally, I think the worse thing about Emirates (especially A380 economy flights) is that there are too many seats for sale and flights can be really concentrated. The problem with that starts to show when they don’t clean the bathrooms enough, especially toward the end of the flight. This is a consistent thing I’ve noticed on almost every flight.
Hope to see you guys tomorrow!
The Paris Air Show has been such an incredible opportunity for us to showcase Infinite Flight at a new event, reconnect with community members who came from all over the world, and also meet new ones!
Unfortunately due to a lack of services available in the show hall we will not be exhibiting on Sunday, June 22nd.
We apologize for any inconvenience for those who planned to stop by and see us tomorrow! Thanks to all who said hello throughout the weekend and we can’t wait to see you again at a future show.
POV: You turn up too late
Just kidding, saw Laura and Seb quickly yesterday. Nice to see the very fancy set up that was on diplay!
