I think the best solution (to a non existent problem) would be to have one per country. The one for the US could be in New York, Boston, Los Angles, Chicago, etc,. For England it could be in London, for Germany, Hamberg, or Munich or Berlin, for France Paris, just major cities for each country or region (probably just one for Sweden, Norway, and Finland
One for Asia could be held in Shanghai, Beijing, New Delhi, etc.

We’ve actually thought of doing this but it’s hard to tell if anybody would even show up :)
It would probably happen in SF or somewhere in CA for IF Con #0 :)

I think a lot of people would show up, look at the entire community! 😄
I would not be so sure, last impromptu meetup in SF where Dan was in down, we had told people 2 days in adv, (short notice, I know), a few people said they would show, it was just Dan and I in the end :)
We’d need some sort of financial commitment for something like this to happen (to book a venue, etc…).
We could also organize this alongside an event like Oshkosh, Sun n Fun or one of those in Europe.

Like the others said, it doesn’t have to be huge, you could just do some small irl event in SF. We would be able to test out new aircraft, and have some fun.
It would cost money, but it would be cool!
Now that I think of it, If it was my call it would be Kansas City, it’s situated in the middle of the nation, cheap flights, and we could ask the KC port authority or whatever they call it to rent out the old TWA storage hanger that actually still has some old TWA 727’s in it.

Don’t forget the people whose parents “can’t afford” to buy them live and so they spam the forum with “make x thing free” requests. Imagine the comments if they had to fly somewhere: “Plz can u give me free tickets to cum to your event” XD
