Greetings everyone! As our community continues to grow, I have decided that we need some organization for our #real-world-aviation:spotting category, and I believe this topic will make it much easier for forum goers to find some of our amazing photographers.
This will be used to share spotters’ photography to the whole community, in one topic.
Here is the idea: You post a spotting topic that doesn’t get much traffic, and other’s don’t really know about you. So, you have decided to come to this topic, and you want your name on the topic. You can either PM me or just make a post with the information given below. People can find your best spotting topics, your social media, and your spotting website.
How to get added below:
Well, the steps are easy!
Find the topic, and look at my example.
Pick 3 (1-2 is fine) of your best spotting topics, your social media links, and your spotting website (If you have one).
Your “portfolio” will be added to this topic within 24 hours for everyone to see.
Be sure to PM me with any updated links to be added.
If you are wanting to improve your shots before you make a request to join this topic, check mine out here!
A note to post editors and mods:
Dear Mods, this is a brand new idea that I think is now beneficial to our community due to all of the new members we are receiving daily. I feel this topic should remain opened because it is a great way to organize spotting topics. This is in no way shape or form replacing regular spotting topics. This is simply here to put everything in one place.
Dear Regulars, please feel free to edit this topic. Please use the proper formatting when doing so, as the goal is to keep everything very organized. You can add new spotters to this topic if you wish to.
No, it is kind of like this topic in that is just a consolidated place for all of our spotters here. He isn’t a moderator of the #real-world-aviation:spotting and it isn’t moderator approved, so he couldn’t not allow spotting topics anywhere else.
What I see he is you trying to take control of he spotting topic by making everyone post via you. There is currently nothing wrong with it. Goes back to the old saying: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
It has been said severall times before, an individual thread for each spotting session is very sufficient.
And tone back the shameless self advertising. It’s pushy.
