Infinite flight burned into my screen?

So um… this might be the saddest post I’ve ever made…. I’ve been flying on this device for two years now, for long overnights, constant hops… but one thing that stays static is the on screen infinite flight displays. Just wanted to see that… well… I’m not imagining it… right? Idk this is crazy to me. Is there any issues with the ui staying on screen whilst in a different app by chance? Or… is today the day when I realize I fly to much? I’d appreciate assistance because I don’t want to face that reality 🤪

Edit: I also see other things on screen, so this might be a device issue but I’m not sure. Once again, I know it’s likely not an infinite flight issue, just wanted to check before I go buy a new iPad or smthn.

Looks like the other thing I was seeing was my settings app (?)

I’ve restarted a few times and it’s still there. Sad.

This iPad was broken, then fixed by a crappy repair guy who did a terrible job. We will see, but I think it’s seen a lot. The sad thing is it’s a little late to ask for a new iPad for the holidays so I’ll have to wait till my bd or smthn ☹️

Also getting msfs and all that equip as I told you the other day so I mean

Yeah, I’m not ready to stop flying every day 😂
Though the screen is not glued properly, I’m worried it might’ve interfered in that sense.

That’s just how an LED screen works if it shows the same thing over and over again. That’s why I always fly with scenic camera and with interface timeout that also hides the info bar. Not to mention a super neat feature on the S20 that allows me to turn off the screen while letting IF run normally in the background.

That is a best feature! I’ve seen those vids before too online when people have news logos burned into their TVs and stuff. Never seen it on a mobile device before.

I know him, his shop isn’t terribly far from me. Maybe I will.

Honestly though I think it’s the fixers fault. Like I said, not glued properly. Never seen a screen issue like this on a mobile device. So weird lol

My previous S10 had the entire top of the screen burnt with battery info and YouTube notifications, as well as some other things, like a snow-themed Clash Royale Crown Tower set.

And it looks like the top of my S20 is burnt with battery status and notifications as well.

Alright, well thanks guys for the help. I guess I’ll find a proper fix, or I’ll have to… have to… play from my phone (smaller, I use it a lot too)🤮

There should be an option to hide the UI for long haul flights to prevent this
