I kinda forgot we have talked about this before. Maybe I should email them and see whatâs the deal.
Do you have an Intel CPU? In that case you need to download software. Bluestacks on the website has a link to a tutorial on how to do this.
I have amd cpu and itâs 5800x
I used to fly IF from LDPlayer on my PC with an ultrawide monitor, accompanied by a two-piece joystick, and it was a blast to fly like that. Unfortunately, as you say, it stopped working in 25.1, and all that joy and comfort is gone.
According to Philippe, in another thread, he said heâd try to do something, but it wouldnât be quick. Thatâs something that left me with a little hope of enjoying IF in a larger, more immersive resolution.
I honestly donât understand why some moderators get so upset about this emulator thing. The aforementioned threads are lost on the entire community unless theyâre pinned. Anyone can ask or create a thread, and theyâll politely respond or quote the thread where it was discussed, but not in such a sarcastic or despotic manner.
When you use Search, they will show up.
We keep referring to the other topics because the answer remains the same.
Itâs indeed very fun playing on a desktop and makes things alot more easier from controlling your aircraft to added keybinds you can multitask very efficiently thanks to the simplicity of IF. And I used to do ultra long hauls (12+) which I donât anymore as a result despite we have AP+. Letâs be Hopeful if it works next update then I can switch to doing ultra long haul flights.
I would also recommend you to try this emulator very light on resources and not bloated and very stable as well.
It would be
if we could connect a joystick to emulator IFS butt multiplayer doesnât work there
controlling would also be ![]()
As far I know the game itself doesnât load and crashes on the spot tried like 2-3 days ago.
It works smoothly on my potato pc, smoother than my tablet, but only singleplayer
Interesting do you run bluestacks? I donât use them anymore though.
Yea, BlueStacks
If you want to try the multiplayer, try changing your language to some other language from the IF settings then restart and revert to the language of your choice. This was the method that worked before 25.1 and the quirk was you could only access IF settings once every time you open the app (It asks for a password the second time) and only access them again once you are on the mode.
It worked , but only for 2 minutes after than, User disconnected
The emulator usually runs in an isolated environment over nat network which can be a problem might wanna try using bridge mode or proxy I myself havenât tried that but I will let you know if I find something. I have also noticed when you get disconnected in the emulator you wonât be automatically reconnect back unlike on phones.
Yep, I tried it on the training server and it worked really well. Had to return the Samsung tab in the end though :c
