Map contains 52000 airports including more than 2000 3D airports and almost 26500 which don’t exist in the sim.
Airports groups
Airports are divided into groups:
Large Airports
Medium Airports
Small Airports
Military Airforce bases
GA Airfileds - small airports for GA use
Airstrips - tiny landing sites with runway and a few buildings and start locations
Closed - closed airports with no any service. They should be replaced with nearby missing airports, but note: there are a few exceptions like Kai Tak VHHX
Incorrect ICAO, these airports have 2 codes: old and new. Applies to airports in the game only. Airport code should be updated when airport is included in next release
Helipads and Seaplane Base. These are for information only (Maybe one day we will get helicopters).

I have enough time to work and I can finish most airports but it makes me sad not to be able to do it, I hope it will be opened and accepted as a Christmas gift haha
Wow! Just wow! The airport editors have been hard at work and it shows. I am particularly impressed because ALL the airports in Maldives are now in 3D. Which is crazy! Since the official release is not out yet, I am unable to thank and tag those who worked on it separately but yes much thanks! Also thank you for taking the time to make this helpful thread @Alexander_Orlov . Amazing works as always by the entire team so gratitude is needed!
What’s stopping Devs from allowing editors to create more custom terminals and just move forward with this process, instead of creating bland brick walls and flat roofs that have to be revisited again if they do decide to create custom terminals. Why are Denver, LA & Dubai the exemption?
