Infinite Flight Airport Editing Application [CURRENTLY CLOSED]

I wish I had an exact date but I feel like I had a conversation like this last summer and it had already been a while since then, just going off of that. Perhaps 18 months is more accurate.

I already applied 2 years ago and no body responded

Patience. It will come eventually.

I submitted my application a years ago, and the havenā€™t asked once. I understand they are in high volume, so I would remain patient.

So if I were to quit IF, and just check the IFC periodically for my invite, would I be able to join while just having IF for airport editing?

An Infinite Flight pro subscription is required for IFAET. So, if you were to get accepted you would have to buy a subscription again if thatā€™s what youā€™re asking.

In my application, I selected that Iā€™d like to edit GA airports in the US. Will I be able to edit airports in Europe though?

Of course, you will be allowed to edit the airports of your choice :)

hey, More than a year ago I sent a request but I didnā€™t have dub-pro.
I currently have it and for a long time. It wonā€™t allow me to fill out the form again, who should I talk to?

If you already sent a request do not send one again unless told to do so.

A pro subscription will allow you to edit but not restrain you from entering the IFAET.

Just applied. Itā€™ll be a long wait, thatā€™s for sure, but I know exactly what airport Iā€™m editingā€¦

The form should prevent people from submitting new applications after the first one.

Speaking of which, for our first airport, what are we allowed to edit? Does it have to be a general aviation field, or can it be a very small commercial airport?

Usually it has to be a small field. I tried requesting KBLI as my first airport and was denied. Even if you were allowed to, I would still recommend starting with small airports to build your skills and knowledge. Itā€™s worth it because if you did a big airport for your first one and looked back on it when you were experienced, youā€™d see many flaws and might have to rework it.

What airport were you thinking of doing for your first? I could give an estimate on if theyā€™d let you or not.

I was thinking of doing Chios National Airport ā€œHomerā€ (JKH/LGHI), and once I got that out of the way Iā€™d find another slightly larger airport along with Olimboi Regional Airport (LG56).

You could probably get GHI as your first airport. This is just an estimate though.
