Hi there,

It can take more than a year for people to get accepted. Your application will be reviewed at some point, it will probably just take some time šŸ™‚ Patience is key

That’s new, I did not know that.

Are you aloud to add people?

I applied way back on the day applications came out which was a few years ago now and I’ve still heard nothing šŸ˜ž

I applied at the start of the year…. Hoping I’d get in. Had a plan to cover a majority of airports in Southern India, Middle East and Maldives in great detail. But I think by the time I am selected (if I am)…. All the airports I intend to recreate in 3D would have already been done šŸ˜‚šŸ˜œ

Hello, i have applied as IFAET member. Does anyone know how long the wait is?

It is quite long, there are tons of applications and not many staff members. Usually people get in after 6 months-a year

Ok, thanks

A long time. If you applied today, you’ll likely be waiting over a year. It took me around 6 months to get in but I applied 2hrs after the applications opened.

I applied 1 month ago

Expect to wait over a year most likely.

I’m pretty sure I’ve been in the queue for well over 2 years at this point.

They opened in June 2022 - so not quite…

I wish I had an exact date but I feel like I had a conversation like this last summer and it had already been a while since then, just going off of that. Perhaps 18 months is more accurate.
