I’m not saying cockpit interactivity on all planes ben, I’m saying to add the extra batteries, etc. on the side panel, so it’s not just battery, GPU, APU, Engine 1, Engine 2, to start planes up
It’s not as simple as just “adding the buttons”. It would require re-programming the aircraft to react to whatever states those buttons are in, otherwise it’s just pointless.

As I said, the “advanced” systems will probably be rolled out to more of the fleet over time, but it likely will just be on the A21N to begin with, especially while they gather community feedback on it all.

It’s not useless to me. As I’ve said before, it’d be nice to realistically perform a start up procedure, on all Airbus planes (which is basically identical on all Airbus planes, A320 and forward). So there is a point to fly planes besides the A321 Neo.
So you just want the buttons and have them essentially have zero reactive functionality?

They aren’t going to do that. I think you’ll find that more people would complain about them not doing anything function-wise. We’ve seen that reaction already with the lights buttons.

If I’m not mistaken, the autopilot controls will not be interactive (yet). Hopefully this will be implemented soon after, with bespoke autopilot controls specific to each aircraft, and then a fully interactive cockpit and display interface as per Aerofly.
Actually insane that this is coming!! Must be some early work for the 787 rework, being tested on existing aircraft.

Agreed. Even some of the NGs have it. Hopefully it comes to all aircraft that use it IRL. Obviously though, some aircraft will need to have an updated model for it, so that will take time.
