Power failure: allow me to introduce myself…![]()
Me neither. I still remember the days of DVD, cable, land line, and wired earphones.
I still use 2 and 4 somewhat regularly. I use 1 on occasion since nothing beats a classic DVD movie!
Good one
I thought I was safe for sure!
Old copper lines will still be functional even when power’s out. Optic fibre ones, those die when there isn’t electricity.
Side question, do you ever sleep? I always see you here, even at late night hours.
Some us don’t sleep.
Only OGs will remember writing complaints to Ea-Nasir on clay tablets

NO WAY! I mean they did say that they might put it on newly reworked/added aircrafts. hopefully comes with interactive cockpit like the a321neo ![]()
I wouldn’t bet on it because that would almost certainly require modifications to actual model of the cockpit, as opposed to screen changes.
Also I’m pretty sure Dan said in the stream that the “interactiveness” would just be on the A21N (at least for now, whether future aircraft will get it/existing aircraft are retrofitted we’ll have to wait and see).
Is no smoking permanent now?
On most Airbus’s now, it’s “no portable devices” instead of “no smoking”. It’s a broader restriction.
Whether there is an interactive cockpit is not so important for mobile games, but it will be more inconvenient, because the mobile screen is relatively small and inconvenient to operate, and the old design will be more in line with the mobile operation mode.
You don’t have to use the actual buttons in the cockpit if you don’t want to. As Dan showed in the stream, you can operate everything via the SYSTEMS menu tabs as well.
Hopefully the systems tab is added to all Airbus planes that have a live cockpit at the very least
The ECAM is already on the A320s and A330s in the public beta. The A220, A350, A380 all have different designs to the screens and systems, so that’ll require additional work.
Just the extra buttons in the side would be perfect
There’s not really much point adding buttons until they actually do something…
There is, I’d like to realistically simulate a startup procedure on all planes, not just the A321 Neo. Because if IF doesn’t do that, their is a massive inconsistency between planes
That’s how development evolution works. You gradually increase the number of systems, functions, etc. available on newer models. As far as retrofitting the older models, it’ll probably happen over time but likely won’t be top priority.
As I said, the ECAM etc. are on all the A320s and A330s. That’s a good start.
