incremental buttons for PWR/THROTTLE

Hi everyone,

My simple idea is the following : when flying in autopilot mode, but without auto throttle on (as I do during climb or some parts of descent), I would like to be able to adjust the PWR gently, without the abrupt changes that putting my finger on the slider causes inevitably. This is why I would enjoy having two buttons (one minus, one plus) below the slider as shown below :

These would disappear whenever Autopilot is fully off (or indeed when autothrottlee is on). Acting on the slider would have priority in any autothrottle off situation.

Not quite sure if I understand what you’re requesting here. You’re suggesting that you control the throttle with autothrottle on? What’s the point of autothrottle then? Mind explaining the request a little better?

No, autopilot on but manual PWR, hence the buttons for precise jerk-less changes. I have corrected a sentence which was wrong and would not let people understand.

Sorry, things were not clear tbh. I have rewritten some bits and I hope the idea comes now across better.
